He was born November 5, 1939 in Letcher County, Kentucky to the late Edward and Doveie Baker Sturgill.
He is survived by: 3 Daughters, Theresa Wadsworth of Irvington, KY, Cathy Cain of Vine Grove, KY and
Anita Howard of Louisville, KY and 1 Son, Paul Sturgill of Louisville, KY.
The family chose cremation and no services are scheduled at this time.
