Evelyn Lamkin Dugan, 83, passed away Monday, September 10, 2007 at University of Louisville Hospital.
She was born November 1, 1923 to the late Lee Dolph and Beulah Marie Lamkin. She was also preceded
in death by one sister Elizabeth Lamkin and one brother Dolph Lamkin, Jr..
She is survived by her Husband, Rice Dugan; 6 Children, Dan (Nancy) Geoghegan of Grand Rapids, MI,
Steve (Amey) Geoghagan of Corbin, KY; Debra Hall of Louisville, Kevin Wayne (Melissa Dawn) Dugan of
New Albany, IN, S. Lee (Vicki) Hoover of Shelbyville, Laura Melissa Mattingly of Fisherville, KY, One sister
Kathryn (Patch) Shacklette of Brandenburg and one brother Donald Lamkin of Louisville; 4 grandchildren,
Kurt, Tim, Travis and Cassie Geoghegan and 3 Step grand children and several special nieces and
nephews.
The Funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at 11 A.M. from the Chapel of Bruington-
Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 11, 2007 from 3 P.M. till 8 P.M.
and after 8:30 A.M. Wednesday.
