Hildegard “Hilde” Margarete Katzenmeier Christopher, 79, of Bradenton, FL, passed away March 14, 2010.
Mrs. Christopher was born April 2, 1930 in Bensheim-Auerbach, Germany to the late Adam and
Wilhelmine Nungesser Katzenmeier.
She lived and worked in the Fort Knox area for many years and retired from Ft. Knox where she worked for
AFEES as a buyer. She was also a member of the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Elizabethtown, KY
before she moved to Florida.
Her husband, Newton Christopher, Daughter, Sharon Christopher, Grandson Aaron Christopher and
Brothers, Heinz and Walter Katzenmeier preceded her in death.
She is survived by: Sons, Robert W. “Bob” (Judi) Christopher of Ekron, KY and Steven (Suzanne)
Christopher of North Carolina, Grandchildren, Adam (Katie) Christopher of Radcliff, KY, Michelle
Christopher of Louisville, KY, Alison (David) Fill of Virginia and Danielle Christopher of North Carolina,
Brothers, Otto (Ingrid) Katzenmeier of Germany and Klaus (Renate) Katzenmeier of Canada.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 4 P.M. from the Chapel of Bruington-Jenkins-
Sturgeon Funeral Home in Brandenburg, KY. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-5 P.M. Saturday.
