Josephine E. Crawford, 67, of Battletown, passed away Monday, September 22, 2008.
She was born September 27, 1940 in Irvine, KY to the late Andy and Agnes Greer.
Her husband Richard L. Crawford preceded her in death.
She is survived by her sister Sue (Hubert) Curl of Brandenburg; 3 nieces, Teresa (Dennis) Prather of
Ekron, KY, Susan (Dave) Whelan of Battletown, KY and Tina Jo (Brad) Warren of Evansville, IN; 3
Nephews, Andy (Tanya) Curl and Mike (Stephanie) Curl, both of Brandenburg and Joey (Edith) Curl of
Lewisport, KY; Aunt, Joyce (Terry) Brown of Battletown; Uncle, Bob Friend of Michigan; Great-Aunt Eva
(Alfred) Wood of Battletown, KY and her special friend Ms. Janet Bullock of Wolf Creek, KY.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 12 Noon from the chapel of
Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home with Pastor Johannesburg Boulware officiating. Visitation will
be Friday, September 26, 2008 from 4-8 P.M. and Saturday after 9 A.M.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society.
