James Ronald "Cowboy" Hartley
James Ronald “Cowboy” Hartley, 82, of Andyville, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2010 in Brandenburg.

Ronald was born May 29, 1927 in Andyville, KY to the late Francis Richard and Anna Josephine King
Hartley.

He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WW II, a member of St. Theresa Church and an avid fisherman.

Two brothers, Frank and Joseph Edward “Toad” Hartley, grandson Matthew Pike and son-in-law Anthony
Pike preceded him in death.

Mr. Hartley is survived by: his Wife, Freda Basham Hartley, Daughter, Deborah Pike of Payneville, sister,
Stella Redmon of Payneville, Grandchildren, Allison Pike (Greg) Jupin, Barrett (Stacy) Pike and Alicia Pike
and 6 Great-grandchildren, Dillan, Jaydan and Kaylan Jupin and Kirstin, Rylee and Reese Pike.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, March 8, 2010 at St. Theresa Church in Rhodelia, KY, with
burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 9 P.M. Sunday and after 8 A.M. Monday at the Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon
Funeral Home.

Prayer services will be at 5 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
