J. Faye Hockman, 68, of Brandenburg, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at her
residence.
She was born March 23, 1939 in Bennington, Vermont. Faye was preceded in death by her father
Cedric Potter Martin and her mother Myrtle Evelyn Oldham.
She was a devoted wife and mother and loyal sister.
She is survived by her husband of forty years, Allen Aitken Hockman.
Two children: Valerie (Bruce) Soderstrom of Brandenburg and Christopher (Stephanie) Hockman of
Dallas, Texas; and her sister Sandra Martin Choate of Nashville, TN.
Mrs. Hockman was also a loving grandmother to four grandchildren: Lauren Ellen and Jessie Mae
Soderstrom and Matthew Tristan Duncan Hockman and Madeline Emma Hockman.
Cremation was chosen through Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 1 P.M. Sunday, November 25, at the First Baptist Church in
Brandenburg for all family and friends to share condolences and memories.
