Larry E. Elder, 70, of Ekron, KY, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2010 at his residence.
Larry was born August 19, 1939 in Huntington, WV to the late Howard Eugene and Ruth I. Warren Elder.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and had retired from Arch Chemicals Doe Run Plant.
He is survived by: wife, Margaret Sue “Suzie” Givans Elder, Son’s, Larry Gene (Susan) Elder and Michael
Keith (Jackie) Elder, Stepson, Scott (Autumn) Bradley, Stepdaughters, Cari (Travis) Flaherty and Kelli
Medley, Brothers, Andy (Toni) Elder and David (Pearl) Elder, Granddaughter, Amelia Elise Elder,
Grandson, Johnathan Elder and Step-grandchildren, Chelsi Ashbaugh and Kayleigh Hardesty.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 6 P.M. from the Chapel of Bruington-Jenkins-
Sturgeon Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 12 Noon till 6 P.M.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus of Central Kentucky.
