Minnie Lee Wardrip Richardson, 82, passed away at her home January 24, 2008.
She was a member of the Meade County Homemakers and a member of the Midway Homemakers
Club.
She was born November 16, 1925 to the late Clarence Foster and Caroline Arnold Wardrip.
She was preceded in death by her husband Homer W. Richardson; stepmother, Pearl Daley Wardrip;
brother, Tony Ray Wardrip and her sister Shirley Ann Wardrip.
She is survived by four sons; Walter Wayne (Carolyn) Richardson of Hawesville, KY, William “Bill”
Richardson, Sim W. (Rebecca) Richardson and Homer L. (Kaye) Richardson all of Brandenburg;
brothers, Howard Foster Wardrip of Brandenburg and William H. “Pete” Wardrip of Dawson, GA; nine
grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A special thank you from the family to Gertie Williams and Betty Ammons who cared for Minnie.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, January 27, 2008 at 2 P.M. from the chapel of Bruington-Jenkins-
Sturgeon Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday, January 26 from 3-9 P.M. and after 9 A.M.
Sunday.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the Meade County
Homemakers Scholarship Fund.
