Virginia Padgett Vandiver, 86, of Muldraugh, passed away, Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at North Hardin
Health and Rehabilitation in Radcliff, KY.

Virginia was born December 4, 1924 in Meade County, Kentucky to the late Lawrence and Nell Pleasant
Singleton.

She was a member of the Muldraugh Baptist Church where she was active in many programs, a member of
the Muldraugh Woman’s Club and had retired from Fort Knox where she worked in commissary.

She was preceded in death by 2 Husbands, Dolfis Padgett and Robert Vandiver, Daughter, Paulette
Padgett and Brother, John Singleton.

She is survived by: Daughters, Carolyn (Roy) Ashford of Elizabethtown and Sharon (Forrest) Berry of
Muldraugh, Son, Leo (Wavel) Padgett of Lexington, Sisiters, Eunice Pollock, Ruth (Jr.) Addison both of
Wolf Creek and Ethel (Terry) Newton of Charlestown, IN, Brothers, Jessie Singleton of Altoona, PA and
Chester (Betty) Singleton of Guston, 7 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 1 P.M. EST from the Chapel of Bruington-
Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home with burial to follow in Parr-Frans Cemetery in Battletown, KY.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 17, 2010 from 2-8 P.M. EST and after 8:30 A.M. Saturday at the
funeral home.
