William C. “Bill” Bennett, 76, of Paducah, KY passed away Saturday, July 26, 2008 in Paducah.
He owned and operated Bill Bennett’s Small Engine Repair in Paducah for 22 years, was a member of
“The Eagles” with The VFW in Kevil, KY and an avid fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his sister: Delores Sutika.
He is survived by three daughters:
Peggy (David) Sturgeon of Bowling Green, KY, Shelia Joan Bennett of Brandenburg, KY, and Susie
(Allen) Bennett Fenwick of Springfield, KY.
2 sisters: Sharon (Roger) Baum and Joanne (Herb) Brabandt both of Louisville, KY.
5 grandchildren: Maranda Burkhart and Brayden Scott Burkhart, Aaron, Sarah and Jordan Sturgeon
1 great-grandchild: Emma Belle Sturgeon
Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 7 P.M. Tuesday from the Chapel of Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon
Funeral Home in Brandenburg, KY, with Rev. David Sturgeon officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00
A. M. until 7 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Lourdes Hospice of Paducah, KY.
