William David “Elmer, Willie or Man” Curl, 80, of West Point, KY Passed away Saturday, April 03, 2010 at
the VA Hospital in Louisville, KY.
Mr. Curl was born May 2, 1929 in Battletown, KY to the late William Francis “Dude” and Arnie Mae Bennett
Curl.
He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War and retired from the West Point Water Department.
His Step-Mother, Lucille Enlow Curl and Step-sister Margaret Jantzen preceded him in death.
He is survived by: his Brother, Francis “Buck” Curl and his wife Lavinda of West Point, KY, Nephew, Eddie
(Lisa) Curl of West Point, Step-Brother-in-law, Bid Jantzen of Brandenburg and several nieces and
nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 6 at 11 A.M. EDT from the Chapel of Bruington-Jenkins-
Sturgeon Funeral Home with burial in Marve Bennett Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, April 5 from
4-8 P.M. and after 8 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
