Wayne Heibert, 72 of Ekron, KY, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at his residence.
He was a member of St. John the Apostle Church, 44 year member of Plumbers Local 107 and a member
of Plumbers & Pipe fitters Local 502 in Louisville.
Mr. Heibert was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Evelyn Marshall and Bessie Bennett and 2 brothers:
James Heibert and Michael Heibert.
He was born January 28, 1938 in Louisville, KY, the son of the late Walter Louis and Ethel Marie Bruner
Heibert.
He is survived by his wife: Pat Fleming Heibert, 3 daughters: Teri (Aaron) Pierce of Brandenburg, Kelly
(Kevin) Medley of Payneville, and Robin (Todd) Lancaster of Flaherty. 3 Sons: Kenny (Vickie) Heibert of
Elizabethtown, KY, Mark (Ronda) Heibert and Craig (Amie) Heibert both of Brandenburg. 1 sister: Doris
Maupin of Louisville. 4 brothers: “Buddy” and Walt Heibert of Brandenburg, Ronnie Heibert of Hodgenville
and Rick Heibert of Louisville. 18 grandchildren and 3 Great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, from St. John the Apostle Church with burial to follow in
St. George Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 – 8 P.M. Thursday and after 8 A.M. Friday at the Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon
Funeral Home. The prayer service will be at 7 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may go to the American Cancer Society or Hosparus of Central Kentucky.
